mixed feelings

i’ve been searching for biodegradable spoons for years, and i was so excited to find these ones. the colors are beautiful, but they’re definitely not as sturdy as the compostable plastic ones we replaced with these. at least 1 in 10 spoons (but maybe more frequently) it snaps in half and we have to give the customer another spoon. i’ve also noticed a lot of spoons per pack have the end of the spoon part missing. i’ve been documenting this so i can show the premium being paid but what we’re actually getting. biodegradable is very important to me as a business owner but the customer’s experience using them hasn’t been great.
