Easter Brunch Ideas that Will Allow You to Spend Time With Your Family

Easter is a special holiday for many families all across the country. It gives families the chance to spend time with each other, typically over an abundance of brunch food.

If it's your year to host Easter brunch, you might be a little overwhelmed. If you have a big family, you're going to need a lot of food, which means you have to come up with things that everybody will like. Since you're going to want to spend time with your family on Easter, you shouldn't have to spend the entire day in the kitchen cooking. In order to avoid this, there are few dishes you can make that will allow you to spend more time with the ones you love while feeding them some delicious food. Here are some ideas.

Eggs Benedict

Eggs Benedict is actually a pretty easy meal you can make that is guaranteed to be a crowd-pleaser. You can put together a bunch of Eggs Benedict in advance, which will allow you to simply throw them together right before they're ready to be served. Trying to find a recipe that will allow you to do any prep work a day or two in advance will give you the chance to sit down with your family and relax. It's a perfect meal to be served to a crowd, because who doesn't like Eggs Benedict?

Quiche

Another option for Easter brunch that can be made in advance, or, at least, be made pretty quickly, is a quiche. Quiche is great because you can pile it high with vegetables and meats, so it's definitely a filling option. If you have some family members that are vegetarian or just don't like meat, you can customize your quiche to fit their dietary needs. Prep the ingredients ahead of time and throw them together Easter morning. Pop it in the oven for about an hour and you'll be good to go.

Ice Cream Bar

For something unique that will appeal to the kids, as well as the kids at heart, why not create an Easter ice cream bar? An ice cream bar is perfect because it involves little to no prep work since all you need to do is take the ice cream out of the freezer, the plastic spoons out of the cupboard, and the toppings out of the fridge. Stock your ice cream buffet high with plastic spoons, ice cream cups, fruits, sprinkles, and don't forget the hot fudge! You could also switch the ice cream out for gelato, which contains between 3% and 8% milkfat and 25% to 30% air. The ice cream with the plastic spoons is a great Easter dessert option and something you don't see very often.

With Easter on the way, it's time to start thinking about what you're going to serve for Easter brunch. If you're looking for something to make that will allow you to still spend time with your family during the holiday, take a few of the suggestions listed above. These take little to no work and will give you the chance to enjoy the company.
