Churn Buddies makes ice cream, ice cream cakes, and ice cream novelties from scratch with as many local ingredients as possible. Unlike ice cream you may buy at the grocery store, ice cream from Churn Buddies is made from the freshest ingredients. That was a big part of their starting business plan because, to quote the owner, Ryan Bybee, "The best ingredients make the best food!"
Giving Back to the Community
Alongside fresh ingredients, the other major pillar of Churn Buddies' business is giving back to the community. That's why they started the "Buddies Program." Every month, they partner with a local charity and donate a portion of their sales. In the creation of this program, Churn Buddies wanted to be charitable in a way that's sustainable while staying generous.
